A former England U18 International who joined the Pitmen on a permanent deal from Vanarama National League North side Darlington in June 2019 after a successful loan period at the club the previous season

Wolverhampton-born left wing back O'Hanlon joined the Wolves youth system at a young age and earned his first professional contract at Molineux in 2014-2015. Late on in the following season, he spent time out on loan at Vanarama National League North strugglers Corby Town, playing a handful of games as the Steelmen were relegated to step three alongside the Pitmen at the end of the campaign

Further loan spells followed in 2016-2017, with O'Hanlon going to Nuneaton Town for a month in August 2016 before joining Rob Smith's AFC Telford United for three months in October 2016. There was to a return to Nuneaton in January 2017 for O'Hanlon, gaining further first-team exposure at step two of the non-league pyramid. At International level, O'Hanlon had also represented England at U16, U17 and U18 levels by this point

His professional contract at Wolves came to an end in the summer of 2017, with the youngster making the move to ambitious Vanarama National League North side Harrogate Town on a permanent one-year deal in June 2017. He made a few appearances for Harrogate during the early stages of the season but was released from his deal by mutual consent in January 2018 to allow him to join league rivals Darlington on non-contract terms. His form for the club prompted manager Tommy Wright to offer O'Hanlon a long-term deal that ran until the end of the following season in March 2018

After starting the season as a regular pick for Darlington, O'Hanlon lost his place in the side as the New Year arrived and was allowed to return to his native Midlands to join the Pitmen on a loan deal until the end of the season in February 2019. He showed fine technical ability on his debut against Buxton and impressed tremendously as the Pitmen steered themselves away from relegation at the end of the season

In June 2019, O'Hanlon was released by Darlington and immediately agreed to link up with the Pitmen on a permanent deal ahead of their 2019-2020 Southern Premier League Central campaign
