PLAYER BIO

Experienced step four left-back who joined the Pitmen in October 2023 from Sporting Khalsa

A trainee at Cadbury Athletic, Lloyd made his debut for the South Birmingham side in the 2014-2015 season as they established themselves as a newly promoted step six side in the Midland Football League Division One. Over the next five seasons, Lloyd was an almost permanent fixture in the side as he made just shy of 200 starts for the Chocolate Men before eventually leaving in the summer of 2019 to join Midland Football League Premier side Heather St. Johns

The step up in quality proved to be of little obstacle for the defender, who adapted well with over thirty appearances for the Leicestershire-based side as they finished fifth in the table at the end of the season, which was to ultimately be voided due to the coronavirus pandemic. He made the short trip across the county to join Northern Premier League South East side Loughborough Dynamo in August 2020, but made only nine starts for the Moes before the season was once again brought to a stuttering halt due to the pandemic

Fallen giants Halesowen Town signed the left-back in the summer of 2021 as they looked to finally bounce back to step three, with Lloyd a fixture in the Yeltz side for the first half of the campaign before moving to league rivals Sutton Coldfield Town in January 2022. He made a further ten starts for the Coles Lane side as they narrowly avoided relegation to step five at the end of the season

A short spell at Studley followed at the start of the 2022-2023 season before Lloyd returned to step four with a move to Bedworth United, where he played regularly for the Greenbacks for the majority of the 2022-2023 season alongside Desean Martin before making the move to Sporting Khalsa on transfer registration deadline day in March 2023

After seven starts the previous season, Lloyd remained at Khalsa at the start of the 2023-2024 season but found himself amongst the substitutes early on in the season and elected to move to the Pitmen in October 2023 ahead of their trip to City of Liverpool
