Midfield man who rejoined the Pitmen in June 2023 after a spell at Racing Club Warwick

A player who has received a call-up to the full Montserrat International team, Martin came under Liam McDonald's radar playing for struggling Tividale in Evo-Stik Division One South during the 2015-2016 season. He had been a part of Tividale's youth system prior to signing first team forms in July 2015, playing over twenty times as Tivi were relegated at the end of the 2015-2016 campaign

Joined the Pitmen after successfully trialling for the club in June and July 2016, making four substitute appearances for the Pitmen before joining West Midlands League side Tipton Town for a short spell whilst the Pitmen held his Evo-Stik registration. He made the step up into the Midland Football League to join Walsall Wood in November 2016, before making an unexpected and dramatic return to Keys Park in March 2017, coming on as a late substitute against Coalville Town and firing home a thirty yard volley to earn Gary Birch's team a point

After earning his place in the side towards the end of the season, Martin was offered a new deal to remain at the club in May 2017 by new Hednesford manager Neil Tooth and was allowed to join local side Brocton for a spell early on in the 2017-2018 campaign. After his spell was up, he had appeared to have given up on the sport after leaving Hednesford in December 2017 and announcign on twitter that he was quitting football

In the summer of 2018, he returned with a move to step four side Market Drayton Town for the forthcoming season as they struggled to a sixteenth place finish in the Northern Premier League West. A return to the West Midlands in 2019 saw Martin team up with Tooth once more at Sutton Coldfield Town, where the midfielder was a highly impressive figure for the Blues in their Northern Premier League South East season, only for the campaign to be brought to a shuddering halt in March 2020 by the covid pandemic

McDonald - now manager of Southern Premier League Central side Rushall Olympic - moved for the midfielder once more in the summer of 2020 as he saw off interest from other step three clubs to sign the player. However, the season was once again cut short by the pandemic in September 2020, with Martin making a handful of appearances at Dales Lane before returning to Sutton at the start of the following season

Three months into the 2021-2022 season, Martin was on the move again as he dropped to step six to join Midland Football League Division One side Bilston Town until the end of the season, scoring six times in fifteen starts

In July 2022, Martin moved back to step five with a move to Racing Club Warwick, playing in all of the Ambers' first six games of the 2022-2023 season before stepping up once more to the Northern Premier League Midland division to sign for Bedworth United in September 2022. He was in fine form at the Oval throughout the campaign, scoring three times in just short of thirty appearances as the Greenbacks finished fifteenth in May 2023

With the Pitmen's future secured for the 2023-2024 season, experienced step four campaigner Martin was convinced to make the return to Keys Park by former team-mates Danny Glover and Dan Crane in June 2023
