Young goalkeeper who was loaned to the Pitmen for the remainder of the 2021-2022 season by Premier League neighbours Wolves in January 2022

Warrington-born and an England age-group goalkeeper up to U17 but eligible to represent Ireland, O'Shaughnessy was an associate schoolboy at Wrexham before joining Premier League side Burnley in 2018 to play in their youth set-up

After a year at Turf Moor, he was snapped up by Wolves to join their U18 set-up at Molineux under Steve Davis. In the summer of 2020, O'Shaughnessy was offered his first professional deal with the club, which was extended further in 2021 as he stepped into the U23 side, where he was a regular performer as he traded the number one position with fellow highly-rated stopper Jamie Pardington

In a bid to gain further experience, O'Shaughnessy was allowed to join Hednesford on a long-term loan in January 2022 as the Pitmen looked to bring in another goalkeeper following the departures of Oliver Basey and Jono Brown
