Prolific step five striker who signed for the Pitmen in October 2021 after offers from sides higher up in the non-league pyramid
Coventry-born O'Sullivan joined Mansfield Town as a schoolboy and signed a professional deal with the Stags in the summer of 2017. He spent two years at Field Mill in the Mansfield U19 side before being released in the summer of 2019 without making a first-team appearance
He returned to Coventry in the summer of 2019 to link up with Midland Football League side Coventry United and immediately showed his goalscoring instincts with seven goals in fourteen games at Butts Lane before the season was brought to a halt due to the coronavirus pandemic
After agreeing a new deal with United for the 2020-2021 season, O'Sullivan's goalscoring exploits started to make other teams sit up and take notice as he scored nine goals in ten starts to help his side to the top spot in the Midland Football League table. However, the ongoing pandemic hit once more and the season was once again brought to a halt after only a couple of months of football
Despite considerable interest from elsewhere, O'Sullivan remained a United player at the start of 2021-2022 and continued his upward progression for the now United Counties League Premier side with fifteen goals in just fifteen starts going into October 2021. He was subject to several lucrative offers from clubs looking for a striker to bolster their ranks but elected to join the Pitmen ahead of other offers on the table
