A vastly experienced midfielder who joined the Pitmen in March 2024 after leaving Vanarama National League North side Darlington

Portuguese national Moke came to England at a young age to link up with the Leeds United academy, spending the 2008-2009 season in the U18 side at Elland Road before joining the Nottingham Forest U18 side the following summer. After his release in 2010, Moke made the move to Spain to link up with Glenn Hoddle's Football Academy in Jerez, playing in the third tier of Spanish football for Jerez Ind during the 2010-2011 season

After returning to England, Moke signed for York City for the first time in July 2011, being used mainly as a substitute for the Blue Square Bet Premier side as they finished fourth in the table and beat Newport County at Wembley to win their first-ever F.A. Trophy

Moke made a move south in July 2012 to join fellow Blue Square Bet Premier side Cambridge United, where again he was used mainly off the bench as the U's struggled to a mid-table finish. He spent two months on loan at league rivals Tamworth, making four starts for the perennial step one strugglers before returning to Cambridge, where he was released from his deal in January 2013

In the summer of 2013, Moke joined up with fallen giants Stockport County, now plying their trade in Skrill North after relegation to step two. He enjoyed a good season at Edgeley Park, coming up against the Pitmen for the first time in his career in March 2014 when the visitors won 1-0 at Edgeley Park to continue their march towards the play offs

His form for Stockport attracted attention from step one sides once more, with Macclesfield Town signing the midfielder in July 2014 for an £11,000 fee. Moke was a virtual ever-present at Moss Rose the following season, making 31appearances for the Silkmen as they narrowly missed out on the play-offs with a sixth-placed finish

Another short hop across the North-West followed in July 2015 as Moke joined league rivals Wrexham on a free transfer. In his two seasons at the Racecourse Ground, Moke made twenty-six starts as the Red Dragons failed to make the play-offs on both occasions despite boasting some of the biggest attendances in the National League

A move down to North London in July 2016 saw Moke sign for National League side Boreham Wood, although the spell was to be a short one with only six starts before Moke returned to the North of England to re-sign for York after struggling to be away from his family. His first season back at Bootham Crescent saw him record yet another F.A. Trophy triumph, as City beat his former club Macclesfield 3-2 in the final. However, league form had not matched their Trophy form and City were relegated to National League North at the end of the season

With the coronavirus pandemic ending the 2019-2020 season suddenly, Moke departed York after three and a half years to join Spennymoor Town in August 2020. However, the pandemic was to take a grip of football again in the 2020-2021 season, with the season voided early on. Moke agreed a new deal with Spennymoor for the 2021-2022 season and was ever-present during the first half of the campaign before falling out of favour

He made the short hop across the North East to join league rivals Darlington in March 2022 where he established himself as an ever-present in the Quakers' side over the next eighteen months, making over sixty starts for the side. In February 2024, Moke joined Northern Premier League side Ashton United for a month to gain valuable match time after an injury

In March 2024, his deal with Darlington was cancelled by mutual consent after thirteen starts for them in National League North, allowing him to sign for the Pitmen ahead of their Northern Premier League West relegation scrap
