Highly experienced left winger, capable of brilliant moments of magic, who joined Hednesford in October 2025
A former Birmingham City junior from a young age, Hylton left St. Andrews as a teenager without making a first-team appearance and joined Bloxwich-based Continental Star in the summer of 2011 via a short spell at Kidderminster Harriers. His form at the Midland Football League side soon had scouts from bigger teams looking at the youngster, with Redditch United snapping him up in July 2012
In three seasons at the Valley Stadium, Hylton became renowned at step three level for his pace, trickery and goals. He helped lift Liam McDonald's side to would would be a sixth-placed finish in the 20124-215, top scoring with twenty goals and attracting interest from a whole host of sides, including his former side Blues
However, it was Swindon Town who won the player's signature in January 2015, although there was some controversy around the deal as Redditch accused Swindon of not following the rules on approaching the player. Nevertheless, Hylton signed a 2 and a half year deal and was put straight into the side, making his debut later in the month against Coventry City
After spending most of his first season as a substitute, Hylton was far more involved in the 2015-2016 season with a run of starts towards the end of the season as Swindon finished fifteenth in League One
A loan spell at National League North side Guiseley followed at the start of the following season, before he returned to the County Ground to play another string of games midway through the season. At the end of the season, Hylton was released at the expiration of his contract with Swindon
The Birmingham native elected to return home in July 2017 as he joined National League side Solihull Moors on a two-year deal after a successful trial period. He was a star performer for the Moors, particularly in the 2018-1029 season as they finished second in the National League to champions Leyton Orient
Once again, Hylton's wing play and goal return was attracting interest from elsewhere, with Scottish Premier League side Motherwell snapping him up on a free transfer in June 2019. He was a consistent and regular performer in Scotland in the following season, making over twenty starts as 'Well finished a lowly eighth in the table
After starting the following season with Motherwell, Hylton was allowed to join league rivals Ross County on a one-year deal in October 2020. Once again, he was a regular performer with twenty starts and over twenty substitute appearances
A move to Wales was in the offing for Hylton in June 2021 as he joined Newport County on a one-year deal. However, games were hard to come by for the winger and he had his contract cancelled by mutual consent in January 2022
After a break from football, Hylton returned to football with a spell at Southern Premier League central side Rushall Olympic in December 2022, reuniting him with McDonald at Dales Lane. He was in fine form as he helped the Pics to promotion to National League North via the play-offs with three goals in five starts
A return to Scotland in the summer of 2023 saw him join ambitious Championship side Arbroath after a successful trial period. He was in fine form for the Lichties, scoring eight goals in nineteen starts
Hylton elected to make something of a left-field career move in April 2024, as he made the move to Lithuania to join A Lyga side Kauno Žalgiris. He made five starts for the Green-Whites in his first season before being in and out of the side in 2025-2026, making a handful of appearances for the club's 'B' side before leaving in January 2025
After spending time with the PFA Free Agents squad in the summer of 2025 - playing against the Pitmen in August 2025 in a friendly game - Hylton joined the Pitmen in October 2025, coming on as a substitute in a 0-0 draw with league leaders Lancaster City
