Young winger who rejoined the Pitmen from local rivals Chasetown in September 2023

The son of Aston Villa great and England international Tony Morley, Joe joined the Pitmen's youth set-up the previous season after a spell with the Stafford Rangers U18 and U21 development side and impressed sufficiently to be called into the first-team picture in August 2021, making his debut as a late substitute in the Pitmen's 1-0 win at Alvechurch later that month. Morley made ten substitute appearances for the Pitmen over the course of the season, agreeing a new deal with the club in May 2022 for the following season

After playing in several of the Pitmen's pre-season games, Morley made three substitute appearances at the start of the 2022-2023 season before joining Chasetown in November 2022. He saw more first-team action for the Scholars as he made fifteen appearances in the Northern Premier League Midland Division as Chasetown narrowly missed out on the play-off places with a sixth-placed finish

After five substitute appearances for Chasetown at the start of the 2023-2024 season - including one against the Pitmen in the 1-1 draw between the sides on August Bank Holiday Monday - Morley returned to Keys Park ahead of their F.A. Trophy tie against Walsall Wood
