PLAYER BIO

Young right-sided defender/midfielder who rejoined the Pitmen in September 2023 from Redditch United

A former trainee at Derby County, Burton-born Yeomans was released from the Rams U18 side in 2020 and joined Tamworth's youth set-up, making his Lambs debut as a 16-year-old in an F.A. Trophy tie against Royston Town in December 2021. Within twelve months, Yeomans had become a regular fixture in the Tamworth side, making over twenty starts for the Lambs during the 2021-2022 campaign before the arrival of Andy Peaks as manager

Having trialled for several professional clubs in the summer of 2022, Yeomans penned a new deal at Tamworth for the 2022-230 season but found first-team opportunities difficult to come by as the Lambs topped the Southern Premier League Central table early on. He was loaned to league rivals Mickleover for a month in October 2022, impressing whilst at the Don Amott Arena and having his loan extended by a further month into December 2022

In February 2023, Yeomans made the move across the county to link up with the Pitmen, going straight into the side for their home 0-0 draw against Basford United. He slotted into a Hednesford defence at right-back, proving an astute capture as he was involved in the Pitmen's upturn in form that included three clean sheets in five games. In March 2023, his loan was extended until the end of the current season, only to suffer an injury that saw his spell at Keys Park brought to an abrupt end

Tamworth's promotion to Vanarama National League North saw Yeomans and several players released in the summer of 2023, with Redditch moving to snap up the youngster in June 2023. After suffering an ankle injury just before the start of the Southern Premier League Central campaign, Yeomans made his debut in the F.A. Cup replay against Peterborough Sports in September 2023. This was to prove to be his only game in a Redditch shirt, however, as the teenager returned to Hednesford on a permanent deal ahead of their Northern Premier League West game at Mossley a few days later
