Vastly experienced target man who rejoined Hednesford in January 2025

The nephew of former Watford and England striker Luther Blissett, Nathan played local football iwhilst at Staffordshire University before returning to Birmingham to earn himself a deal with Romulus in the summer of 2011 after a succesful trial. His form for the Roms was excellent, scoring thirteen times in thirty four games for the Northern Premier League Division One South strugglers

Scouts from other non-league clubs has been flocking to Coles Lane all season long, with Blue Square Bet Premier side Kidderminster Harriers signing the youngster on a one-year contract. He was used sparingly by Steve Burr during the 2012-213 season and was allowed to join league rivals Cambridge United on loan in March 2013, with Michael Gash going the other way as part of the deal. After one goal in seven starts, Blissett returned to Aggborough and signed a new one-year deal to remain for the 2013-2014 season

After another in and out first half of the campaign, Blissett was loaned to the Pitmen for a month in December 2013, impressing for the Skrill North high-flyers with four goals in nine starts, including three goals in his first four games

His stay at Aggborough was extended for a further year in the summer of 2014, enjoying a good run in the side at the start of the 2014-2015 season before falling out of favour and joining fallen giants Bristol Rovers, now playing in the Vanarama National League, on loan for an initial month's loan in November 2014

His spell at the Memorial Stadium was highly successful with four goals in nine games, with Rovers electing to make the move permanent in January 2015. He was a regular starter for the side for the remainder of the campaign, scoring twice as they earned promotion back to the Football League via the play-offs

Rovers' return to the Football League saw Blissett's opportunities limited, with the striker dropping back into the National League to join another ex-League club in the form of Tranmere Rovers on a month's loan in August 2015. His tour of the ex-professional clubs in non-league continued in November 2015 with a two month loan at Lincoln City, another side that had dropped into the National League in recent times

His time at Bristol Rovers came to an end in January 2016 with a move to Vanarama National League side Torquay Unted, scoring regularly as he helped the Gulls to avoid relgeation at the end of the season. The goals flowed again at the start of the 2016-2017 season, prompting Plymouth Argyle to pay Torquay £18,000 to sign the striker in January 2017

Starts were limited at Home Park for the striker, although he played his part in helping Plymouth to promotion at the end of the 2016-2017 season as they finished second to fellow south coast side Portsmouth. With opportunities even more limited in League One in 2017-2018, Blissett joined National League high flyers Macclesfield Town in Jamaury 2018 on loan until the end of the season. He once again picked up a promotion whilst at Moss Rose, as Macc defied the odds to win the title by a full ten points from Tranmere

After making his move to Macclesfield permanent in the summer of 2018, Blissett struggled to recrete his previous season's form with only one goal in twenty three starts and was allowed to return to the National League in December 2018 to join Solihull Moors

He enjoyed a more fruitful spell at Damson Park, scoring thirteen goals in forty-two starts until Covid brought the 2019-2020 season to a halt with Moors in ninth place in the table

A move down south in June 2020 saw Blissett join league rivals Maidenhead United on a two year deal. Two seasons at York Road saw Blissett only score eight times in fifty-six starts as Maidenhead finished in mid table in both campaigns

A return to the Midlands was in the offing once more for the lanky striker in July 2022 with a move to Vanarama National Legaue North side AFC Telford United. It was to prove a nightmare season for the Bucks as they finished rock bottom of the league with only six wins in the whole campaign. Blissett had long departed the Bucks by this point, joining Northern Premier League side Stafford Rangers in February 2023

After agreeing to remain at Marston Road for the 2023-2024 season, Blissett was again part of a struggling side as Rangers were rooted in the bottom three for much of the season. In February 2024, Blissett made the lateral move to Southern Premier League Central side Bromsgrove Sporting, helping the Rouslers to safety with some timely goals in his three month spell at the Victoria Ground

Despite announcing his retirment in the summer of 2024 to concentrate on his business interests, Hednesford manager Gavin Hurren - a man well known to Blissett over the years - convinced the big man to rejoin the Pitmen in January 2025. Blissett hit the ground running with a debut goal against Wiiton Albion and hit three more important goals in eight starts to help the Pitmen to promotion via the play-offs

In May 2025, Blissett was one of the majority of the existing Hednesford squad to agree terms ahead of the 2025-2026 Northern Premier League campaign
