Powerful, experienced centre-back who rejoined the Pitmen in June 2025 after a successful two seasons at Southern Premier League Central side Halesowen Town

Locally-based in Rugeley, Wynter started his career as a junior at Stoke City, playing as a professional there for one year before being released in 2013. He earned a scholarship to the USA for the following summer and played for Kansas-based Blue Devils Athletic towards the end of their 2013 college season before returning to the UK to sign for Evo-Stik Division One South side Stafford Rangers the following summer

In his first full season, Wynter helped Rangers to a sixth placed finish - just outside the play-offs - as they failed to make an immediate return to step three. Wynter joined newly promoted Evo-Stik Northern Premier League side Mickleover Sports in May 2015, but only made a handful of appearances there before joining Chasetown for the first time in September 2015.

A return to Marston Road in February 2016 saw Wynter finally help Stafford to the Northern Premier League Division One South title, although his influence was cut short due to a work-placed injury that saw him miss much of the run-in. In the summer of 2016, Wynter elected to drop back down to step four and rejoin Chasetown for a second spell

His form - and goalscoring - for the Scholars was impressive with nine goals from thirty-two starts, despite their on-the-field struggles that saw them finish in a lowly seventeenth place. This attracted the attentions of Neil Tooth - newly appointed as manager of Hednesford - who brought the then-striker in as part of his squad overhaul in May 2017. Wynter played in much of the Pitmen's pre-season programme but found himself well down the pecking order at the start of the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League season as the likes of Danny Glover, Luke Rodgers, Jordan Nadat and Devarn Green were preferred to him

This led to a return to Chasetown in September 2017, with Wynter starting well but suffering a mid-season injury that kept him out of much of the second half of the campaign as the Scholars finished in the play-off places in Northern Premier League Division One South

He remained at Church Street for the next two seasons and quickly reinvented himself as a centre-back around this time, becoming an accomplished defender at step four as the COVID pandemic put paid to the 2019-2020 season in April 2020

Wynter was unveiled as a Stafford Rangers player once more in July 2020, although the defender was to perform a u-turn in August 2020 and return to Chasetown after a change in work commitments off the pitch. He was a virtual ever-present at centre-back for Chasetown over the next three years, further cementing his reputation as a dominant, powerful central defender at step four with over eighty starts. Chasetown narrowly missed out on promotion in 2021-2022 and 2022-2023, finishing fourth and sixth respectively

Newly-promoted Halesowen Town fought off several other clubs to earn Wynter's signature in May 2023, bringing the player back to step three for the first time in five years. The Yeltz finished eighth in their first season back in the Southern Premier League Central, with Wynter playing in the majority of their games and agreeing a new deal in the summer of 2024. He continued his impressive form with another virtual ever-present season in 2024-2025 as Halesowen finished in the play-off places but lost in the semi-final to AFC Telford United. By this point, Wynter was a fan favourite at the Grove and very much considered one of the very best defenders at step three

Wynter elected to return to his roots in June 2025, making the lateral move across from the Southern Premier League Central to the Northern Premier League to sign for the Pitmen once more
