Lightning-quick striker who joined Hednesford in July 2024 from Southern Premier League Central side Redditch United
A former trainee at West Bromwich Albion, Sutherland played for the Baggies' U18 side during the 2021-2022 season before being released at the end of his year-long deal. He linked up with Bromsgrove Sporting for a short spell in October 2022, making a handful of appearances for the Rouslers before linking up with Neil Tooth at Romulus
His short spell at Castle Vale ended in February 2023 with a move to league rivals Lye Town, where he impressed with his pace and finishing, grabbing ten goals in only eight starts as Lye narrowly missed out on the Midland Football League Premier title to Walsall Wood
In the summer of 2023, Sutherland joined Vanarama National League South side Dover Athletic on trial, impressing sufficiently to be handed the number nine shirt at the Crabble for the forthcoming season. He did well in a poor Dover team that struggled all season long, scoring eight goals in thirty-six starts - thus ending the season as the club's top scorer - before electing to return to his native West Midlands in March 2024 with a move to Redditch, where he saw the season out
In July 2024, Sutherland joined the Pitmen as their latest new signing in Steve King's Keys Park revolution, becoming the club's tenth new signing of the summer
